Cheyenne Frontier Days is the largest outdoor rodeo with approximately 1400 cowboys competing in 10 events. Keeping track of times, scores, stock and money earned requires a huge amount of very critical data daily. Therefore, making sure the data is backed up regularly and with as little effort is very important. BackPack 4 allows us to back up the data at scheduled times or with just the click of an icon if we want.
Another very flexible benefit is it allows us to back up single data files or complete subdirectories and it allows us to use many different types of media (CD's, DVD's and other Hard Drives) as destinations for our backup. Creating these different scenarios is very easy using a setup wizard. BackPack 4 is worth every penny for the peace of mind it provides in knowing our data is safe and secure.

I have searched the web for a good backup program that would span over multi CDRW's. I could not make any of them work. I emailed tech support after tech support and did not receive a single reply. Then I tried BackPack. Their tech support worked with me for several days until we determined that the problem was in my drive. They were friendly and very patient.
It's GREAT to know that there are still people who really care about their customers!!

Whilst we sleep, Backpack zips up our data, copies it to a Jazz tape and to a separate location. If the backup has a problem, backpack emails me automatically at home. Good value for money, reliable and easy to use.

"Excellent backup to standard zip"
Back up your data - sounds simple, often isn't. Many programs suffer from complicated interfaces, proprietary compression methods and backup device incompatibilities. BackPack Professional is the exception. My goal was to schedule my data backup to CDRW (spanning if necessary) in standard ZIP format from Windows XP Pro. BackPack Professional was one of the few programs that could actually do that. The program is simple and fast, with enough features to suit just about anyone. Support from Elmbrook is also excellent. Give it a try!

Since I have been using Elmbrook's 'Backpack' my critical data backups are now being done on a much more regular basis. I have found it easy to set up and the speed with which it is done allows me to continue with my work without lengthy delays while the backup is performing.

"Does exactly what I want"
I have a database development company and use BackPack Professional in conjunction with scheduler to backup all the changes made on a daily basis. The incremental Backup keeps my backups small and quick. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a full backup solution. Also I love the logging capabilities.

I have purchased a number of software programs and other items on the web. Some of them have been valuable resources and some have been less than wonderful.
I wasn't however apprehensive about purchasing BackPack as I could trial a fully functioning version before making the decision to buy.
Now with many business models for this type of software requiring annual licensing, it is nice to have a product that will stand the test of time without me having to continually shell out more money. Not only that, it is a tremendous bundle of compatible and very usable applications for both business and personal use.
What I have found is software that suits my business down to the ground, their website provided tutorials but the intuitive wizard setup steps meant that I didn't even have to use them.
